Lina has a doctoral degree in Veterinary Medicine in her home country of the Philipines. She moved to the U.S. and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 1995. She enjoys working elbow to elbow with doctors and staff in all aspects of the veterinary field. Lina is also passionate about community service within the Filipino Community of Seattle and serves as senior vice president of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoys gardening, travel, and fishing. She currently lives in Kent with her daughter, Marilyn.
David graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2011 and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. He is a feline enthusiast with an interest in feline behavior. After earning a BA in Anthropology in 2005, David moved to Seattle from Chico, California. He shares a home here with three cats and his daughter Rogue.
Milly moved to Seattle in the winter of 2010 from Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked for the past 5 years in a veterinary hospital. She hails from the great state of Maine. Milly enjoys exploring the outdoors, gardening, and cooking unique dishes. In her free time, she can be found in her garage workshop designing and soldering jewelry. Milly shares a home with her Dutch rabbit, Enzo.
Marcia is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a Bachelor’s degree in biology. She moved to Washington from North Dakota in 2003 and has volunteered and fostered for multiple rescue organizations since. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Marcia shares her home with a farm-cat from North Dakota and a shepherd mix from a local shelter.
Sue has been employed at Aurora Veterinary Hospital since 1991. She has a young Border Collie named Colbie and an elderly cat named Speedy. She has two grown children Hailey and Ryan. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking ,camping, gardening, horseback riding and spending time on her family farm in Oregon.
Scott has worked with all types of animals from elephants to tiny poison dart frogs. He joined the Aurora Veterinary Hospital team in February of 1989. Scott is an avid motorcyclist and can often be found with his wife at one of Seattle's many dog parks playing with their dog.
Claudia is a veterinary assistant on our team. She’s a bubbly girl with a love for animals like no other. Her favorite animals are cows, and she loves kitties and pitties.
Sheila Wilson is a native of Seattle and worked with the elderly for 29 years, but always had a passion to work with animals. She loves to spend time with her husband, two grown kids, dogs Hansel and Gretel and kitty Rainbows.
Elizabeth "Lizzy" Koon
Lizzy started working at AVH after finishing the Veterinary Assistant program at PIMA medical institute. She loves the varied responsibilities as an assistant, building relationships with the patients and the satisfaction of doing dental cleanings. Outside of work, she is an avid plant enthusiast and you can usually find her hanging out with her husky Zume.
Keller loves the community at AVH and enjoys how welcoming it is here. She also enjoys seeing cute animals every day. She feels this a great place to be.
Lisa has loved animals, especially dogs and cats, since childhood. Growing up in the suburbs of Southern California, Lisa was never without a four-legged companion. She has worked with animals on a professional, and volunteer basis, for over two decades, and has been with Aurora Veterinary Hospital since June of 2019. She currently does not have a pet at home, but she looks forward to getting a dog as soon as life permits. When Lisa isn't working, she enjoys a wide variety of activities: Acting, Painting and Drawing, Music, Movies, strong coffee, and spending quality time with her boyfriend, family, and friends!
Chloé has been working at AVH as an assistant since March of 2018. She has been in the veterinary field for three years prior and also has experience working in local shelters. She grew up in the suburbs of Washington and now resides in Ballard with her cat, Fiona, and dog, Sugar. In her free time, she enjoys boxing, beach volleyball, painting, and attending local farmer’s markets. The way to her heart is donuts and golden retrievers.
